Today Trent Wotherspoon launched his campaign in Prince Albert along with Prince Albert Northcote MLA Nicole Rancourt and received the support of Athabasca MLA Buckley Belanger and Cumberland MLA Doyle Vermette - bringing Wotherspoon’s list of caucus supporters to a total of six.

“I’m so honoured to have the support of these strong Northern MLAs,” Wotherspoon said. “Buckley Belanger, Doyle Vermette, and Nicole Rancourt are all tremendous advocates for Prince Albert and the North, and their support means so much to me in this campaign.”

Trent has a pragmatic, common sense approach and I know he will work to create jobs in the North and across our province,” Belanger said. “He knows we have to diversify our economy, strengthen and protect our Crowns, and invest in healthcare and education to build a bright future and a province that works for everyone.

“Over the last ten years I’ve watched Trent grow as a leader and fight for Saskatchewan people,” Vermette said. “He cares about this province, and he cares about making life better for people in the North. No one works harder than he does, and his vision of a province based on hope, opportunity, and reconciliation for all is one that I share.”
