Trent Wotherspoon welcomes endorsements from four young leaders in Saskatchewan NDP

October 27, 2017

Today NDP leadership candidate Trent Wotherspoon received four endorsements from young leaders of the New Democratic Party.

Working alongside Trent on campuses and in communities across Saskatchewan, I have seen first-hand Trent’s dedication and commitment. As a young Indigenous man, I am inspired by his vision for a Saskatchewan with hope, opportunity, and reconciliation for all.
- Mitchell Anderson, Saskatchewan NDP Treasurer

Trent is a man of integrity, honesty and compassion. I fully support his vision for Saskatchewan and his commitment to universal mental health. Trent’s plan to make Saskatchewan a world leader in education is an inspiration, and he is the best choice to build a better and stronger Saskatchewan.
- Katelynn Kowalchuk, SYND President

Trent is a true ally. He always stands up for the most vulnerable and the least represented. He doesn’t show up for the glory and he isn’t here for a trophy. Trent shows up to lift people up. He uses his position to strengthen the voices of those without one and I’m thrilled to be supporting him in this race.
- Avery Beaudin, active SNDW member

Trent has served this party with integrity every day since he was elected. I’ve watched him lift up women, young people, and LGBTQ* folks to places of leadership because he genuinely values diversity. Trent’s the hard-working, team-building, and progressive choice for leader.
- Nathaniel Cole, Federal NDP Councilor & former SYND President
